| API credits | $1,000, available as soon as you are accepted | Credits expire six months after they are granted and work only on the Claude API through the Console |
| Higher API rate limits | Granted automatically with the program credits | For members who receive those credits |
| Claude Startup Stack | Discounts and credits from partner software companies, up to $45,000 | Each offer follows the partner’s own terms |
| Office hours | 45-minute live sessions with the Applied AI team, every other week | Advisory only, with no committed volume from Anthropic |
| Community | Founder House, hackathons, meetups and a startup newsletter | Limited space at events |
| Claude Marketplace | Help building and submitting a connector or a plugin | Listing goes live after Anthropic’s review |
| Partner VC network | Up to $100,000 in additional API credits | For startups backed by a partner VC, which passes on the offer |
A Premium seat gives five times the usage of a Standard seat. The Team plan includes Claude Code, Cowork, shared projects, connectors and central administration. On this plan, Anthropic does not train its models on your content by default.

Who can apply?
- Startups founded in the last five years, or funded in the last two.
- Bootstrapped, pre-seed and venture-backed startups: the program does not require VC funding.
- Teams with a Claude Console account, a company email that matches their website’s domain and a short description of what they are building.
- Companies based in a country Anthropic supports.
Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Libya, France, Qatar and Saudi Arabia are on the list of supported countries for the Claude API and for Claude.ai. The official page mentions no national label: Tunisia’s Startup Act label is not one of the criteria.
Anthropic reviews every application and decides alone on acceptance. The program terms cite traction, funding and Claude usage among the evaluation factors.
Five limits to know before you apply
- API credits expire six months after they are granted.
- Credits do not work on Amazon Bedrock or on Google Cloud Vertex AI.
- The Claude Team offer applies only to organizations new to that plan.
- The official pages do not state the pricing terms at the end of the free year. At the public rate, five Premium seats cost $6,000 a year.
- Anthropic can change or end the program, and the terms let it name accepted startups and use their logo.
Why this offer matters for a Tunisian startup
- It equips five people with a professional AI assistant for a year, at no license cost.
- It funds the first tests of an AI feature through API credits.
- It gives access to Anthropic experts every other week.
- It requires neither a funding round nor a label.
The value still depends on usage: you lose the credits you do not spend within six months. Prepare a plan before you activate the benefits.
